“Raw, uncomfortable, hilarious, powerfully honest.”

“F.E.A.R. makes for an hour of stirring, thought-provoking theatre, told with a lightness and an intensity that brings the message home with a band and leaves you questioning your own way of life”
–Arts Scene Wales–
(F.E.A.R.) is Gareth Clark’s journey through a world that does not want us to feel safe
The recently completed (F.E.A.R.) tour, directed by Agnieszka Blonska took Gareth’s early childhood memories, intimate life experiences, and very real fears, and laid them bare for audiences to examine, scrutinise, judge and, inevitably, relate to; a show that unites in the face of a divisive society, controlled by fear in various disguises.
“We certainly all felt very much better after spending an hour or so with this extraordinary entertainer.” Michael Kelligan
A shocking, honest and visceral undertaking that opened up the artist for all to see, whilst compelling you too to look inside yourself to see what’s really going on inside; what’s really making things tick in there?
Following an immensely successful tour of venues around Wales and England Mr and Mrs Clark are working on performing (F.E.A.R.) again later in 2017 and 2018 including an appearance in Edinburgh as part of Wales in Edinburgh, with some preview dates on 10-13 July at Chapter. Watch. This. Space.
What the critics said
“Close to a smack in the face, in theatrical terms. A lowly sort of guy, Gareth details the fears that pepper his life story. The sheer expressions of anger are relatable, yet always disturbing and uneasy. Many questions are raised about society and morality, but we don’t always get the answers.
His crocodile mask is telling, but my own fear as an audience member came from when he sat next to me and engaged in frequent eye contact and banter-like conversation. He knew how to stimulate us and leave us exhausted. A powerful blast of theatre.” – Thesprout.co.uk
